day trip to Portland

we spent a day our of seattle vacation in Portland visiting with our friend Julia: breakfast at tasty n sons, running errands with Julia at a fixtures store, the Frocky Jack Morgan shop is up and running located at 811 E Burnside Suite #122 open Wed-Sat 12-6pm (this is Julia showing us some clothing and a picture I lifted from the frocky jack morgan facebook page because my own pictures were lacking), a field trip to Deschutes for a rundown on the art of beer making with Julia's brother, lastly we couldn't leave Portland without a pink box of voodoo doughnuts, not pictured: our adventures at Powells books and the Portland art galleries of Elizabeth Leach and Newspace..

2011 lloyd christmas: part one

Christmas eve with the Lloyds: a little christmas decor, the heads of Sue and Dennis Franklin behind a pile of gifts, when christmas cards arrive Joanne is excited to add them to her christmas card tree, some christmas present opening lloyd style (read the card out loud to the group, pass it around, if your gift is wearable, put it on immediately to model for the group), Daniel and Shawna with the Christmas tree in the background, Christmas dinner (note the festive tablecloth), a sleepy Emma, and the aftermath.

getting to seattle

home for the holidays: the saab parked and patiently waiting for our return under the poinsettia tree (thanks again Krista!), Joe in the backseat on the way to the airport, the most crowded we ever seen our favorite airport (Long Beach Airport) on the way to board the plane, southern california out the airplane window...see you again in a few weeks
