a nice quiet week

my first flats, krista's art installation at csulb, breakfast with joe in seal beach, and a few shelves of the yarn room in weaving.

we are off to celebrate each other with a day off from art, cell phones and internet. we will be back monday, in time for class, bible study and the new pj harvey cd...

best meal of the day: breakfast

mostly spinach omelet with tomatoes, avocado and swiss cheese invented by joe this morning

"It is important to note the 'marbled' eggs, which are only swirled together in the pan and not blended before cooking. Fresh spinach was fried with garlic and tomato wedges were fried slightly before being added to the cooked eggs. Slices of cheese and avocado were then added. I added salt and pepper to enhance the vegetables/avocado. The result is a chunky omelet with unblended ingredients, unlike you would get at Denny's"

tina's art show opens tonight, 5-7pm

come see a selection of my efforts so far at my show, opening tonight from 5-7pm at the Dutzi gallery at csulb (1250 bellflower long beach ca 90822). the show runs february 6th to february 10th. the gallery hours are: sun 5-7pm, m/t/th 12-5 and wed 12-7. Parking in lots 7,8,or 8a by meter or permit.  (Parking is going to be difficult so carpool if possible.)
